Public Art
The Cambridge Arts Council commissioned me to create my first public art project, for the new Lafayette Square Plaza at the intersection of Main St. and Massachusetts Ave. in Central Square, Cambridge, MA. Brain Terrain (above) is a glass tile mosaic juxtaposing symbols of Cambridge's recent immigrant populations with references to the city. The mosaic was installed in June 2008.
